Janna Yotte

Janna Yotte is a Montreal based visual artist. Using sculpture, paper and digital collage, she specializes in assembling intricate, unusual yet aesthetically pleasing compositions for commercial, editorial or art projects.

She selects, transforms and assembles different material sources to create new beings, tell stories or connect content in a new and compelling manner. She also loves colours, human connection and all things nature but especially flowers and animal fun facts.

Art

Not that commissions aren’t art, but Janna also does personal work and this section is where you can find it. Serpentine sculptures made of thousands of artificial nails, new creatures made of paper collage, beads and embroidery all coexist in her world of materiality. What she creates in her studio end up being exhibited and bought by really awesome collectors.

Commissions

Former photographer and graphic designer, Janna creates custom imagery for her clients using her solid skills for image making, branding and an impressive digital toolbox. We can call it digital collage, as she mainly uses this cut and paste technique. But digital art, photo editing and photography are also used to create her visuals. Ultimately this combination serves a purpose very similar to illustration, but she doesn’t draw that much.
